Glyntr

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 19, 2026  ·  Last updated: August 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Business Technology Partnerships, Inc. (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects information in connection with the Glyntr mobile application (Google Play package com.glyntr.app) and the Glyntr web application (collectively, the “Service”).

Glyntr is an AI-assisted content creation workspace. You record or upload source material, write prompts, and the Service helps you produce scripts, images and videos and publish them to your own connected social accounts. Because that work involves your camera, microphone and the content you create, we have tried to describe exactly what is handled and by whom.

1. Information we collect

Account information

To create and access an account we collect your email address. Glyntr signs you in with a one-time passcode sent to that address — we do not ask you to create a password, and we do not offer or use social login providers. We also store an internal account identifier and, if you choose to provide them, a display name and profile picture.

Brand and workspace settings

Information you enter to steer the AI: your brand description, your script style guide, brand colours, and similar workspace preferences.

User-generated content

Content you upload or capture in the app, including photographs, b-roll and raw video clips, long-form video uploads, trimmed clips, thumbnails and finished content items.

AI prompts and generated content

The prompts you type or dictate, the scripts and opinion scripts generated from them, and the questions and written answers you record in the Opinions area.

Camera, microphone and recordings

Billing information

Subscription status, plan type, billing period and invoice records, plus the customer and subscription identifiers issued by our payment processor.

We never receive or store your card number, CVC or full billing details. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe on its own systems.

Publishing connections

If you connect social publishing, we store the workspace credentials you supply for that integration, the list of connected accounts it returns, and the posts scheduled or published through it.

Diagnostic and activity records

To keep the Service working and auditable we record application error reports (an error message, technical stack trace, the originating screen or function, and your account identifier) and an activity log of significant actions in your account (the action taken, a short description, your account identifier and email, and a timestamp).

Technical information

Like any internet service, our hosting and infrastructure providers process standard request data such as IP address, request time and general device or browser characteristics in order to deliver and secure the Service.

What Glyntr does not collect: we do not use advertising identifiers, we do not build advertising or tracking profiles, we do not embed third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, we do not collect precise location, and we do not access your contacts, call logs, SMS messages or installed-app list.

2. Device permissions

The Android app requests only the permissions its features require. Android asks for the sensitive ones at the moment they are first needed, and you can revoke them at any time in system settings — the related feature simply stops working.

PermissionWhy it is needed
CameraRecording interview, opinion and script videos.
MicrophoneRecording video audio, voice input for transcription, and voice agent calls.
Photos and mediaSelecting images and video files you choose to upload.
Bluetooth / audio settingsRouting call audio to headsets and managing playback during recording.
Keep screen awakePreventing the screen from sleeping mid-recording.
InternetCommunicating with our backend and the providers listed below.

3. How we use information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content to train our own AI models.

4. AI processing

Generating a script or an opinion video sends your prompt, together with your brand description and style guide, to a third-party AI provider that returns the generated text. Video and image production features similarly transmit the material required to produce the result.

Automated generation does not produce legal or similarly significant decisions about you. You review, edit, approve or discard everything before it is published.

Providers process this material on our instructions to return a result. Their own handling of the data they receive is governed by their terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.

5. Service providers

We share information with the following providers only to the extent needed to run the feature described. This list reflects the integrations actually present in the Service.

6. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We disclose information only:

7. Data retention

When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or irreversibly anonymise the associated personal information, except where we must retain records to comply with a legal obligation.

8. Data security

Traffic between the app and our backend is encrypted in transit with TLS. Access to your data is enforced at the database level by row-level security rules, so one account cannot read another account’s content. Integration credentials and API keys are held in an encrypted secrets vault rather than in application tables, and privileged operations run in server-side functions rather than in the app on your device.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export or restrict the processing of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. Residents of the EEA and UK have these rights under the GDPR; residents of California have comparable rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

Within the app you can review and edit your brand settings, delete items from your library, and disconnect publishing integrations at any time. For any other request, contact us using the details in section 15 — we will respond within the period required by applicable law. We do not charge a fee for reasonable requests.

10. Account and data deletion

You can delete individual items — scripts, recordings, uploads and generated content — directly in the app at any time.

To delete your entire account and all associated data, use the Delete Your Glyntr Account page, or Account → Delete account inside the app. Both verify that the account is yours with a one-time code emailed to it, and then remove your account, your stored content and your uploaded files.

You can also email contact@glyntr.com from the address registered to your account, with the subject line “Account deletion”. We will verify the request and delete your account, your stored content and your associated records, other than information we are legally required to keep (such as invoice records retained for tax purposes). We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.

11. Children’s privacy

Glyntr is a business productivity tool intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or under the minimum age of digital consent in your country, which is up to 16 in parts of the EEA). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. International data transfers

We operate internationally. Your information is stored on our backend infrastructure hosted in the Asia Pacific (Seoul) region, and the providers listed in section 5 may process information in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country.

Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards for that transfer, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

13. Cookies and analytics

Glyntr does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics.

The web application stores your sign-in session locally in your browser so you stay logged in between visits, and the mobile app stores the equivalent session token on your device. These are strictly necessary for the Service to function; clearing them signs you out. This Privacy Policy page itself loads no third-party resources and sets no cookies.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Service or to legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If the changes are material we will provide additional notice, such as an in-app message or an email to the address on your account, before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
